Sherri Castor, PT

Sherri Castor, PT, MPT, took an interest in health care very early on in her life. As a young girl, she took part in the Boy Scouts Medical Explorer's Post. Meeting once a month, they would have speakers from different areas of the medical community. When a physical therapist stopped by to speak to her group, Sherri was all ears. She was fascinated by the wide variety of knowledge and treatments this person could provide.

With a newfound interest in physical therapy, coupled with her desire to help people, Sherri decided to embark on a journey to become a PT. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Education from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and later her Masters of Physical Therapy at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Today, Sherri is a physical therapist at Methodist Physicians Clinic HealthWest.

Sherri cares deeply about the needs of her patients. She believes in creating a tailor-made treatment plan that focuses on the patients pace and ability. It is also her mission to educate them on how they can get heal better and achieve their goals.

In her free time, Sherri enjoys staying busy. She frequently engages in activities including card club, piano, crafts, reading, hiking, and kayaking.
