Sarah K. Broadhead, MD

As a little girl, Dr. Sarah Broadhead knew exactly what she would be in life. Growing up, she had a favorite aunt that was a family practice physician. Being lovingly referred to as "Dr. Deb," this aunt recounted tales of her experience in the medical field to her niece. Dr. Broadhead admired Dr. Deb and wanted to be just like her, helping parents and children through rough times.

Intent on becoming "Dr. Sarah," Dr. Broadhead completed medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She later completed her pediatric residency through a joint program at UNMC and Creighton University Medical Center. Today, she is a pediatrician at Methodist Physicians Clinic.

Dr. Broadhead loves children and it is her mission to promote their amazement for the world around them. She is also dedicated to delivering exceptional care to each of them. In order to successfully carry out her job, she emphasizes the importance of creating a partnership with parents and children. She believes that her medical experience coupled with parents' knowledge of their children is the most effective way to make informed decisions regarding a child's care.
