Samuel P. Phillips, MD

Dr. Samuel Phillips is an orthopedic surgeon at MD West ONE. Methodist is proud to partner with MD West ONE and its team of orthopedic, neurosurgery and spine specialists.

Dr. Phillips' practice focuses on the management of hip and knee arthritis. His surgical expertise includes hip replacement, knee replacement, partial and uni-compartmental knee replacement, as well as knee arthroscopy. He also provides trauma care centered on the hip, knee and femur.

Dr. Phillips provides advanced technologies and alternatives, especially for the younger arthritic patients. If surgery is required, he relies on multimodal pain management options which provide a great advancement in how potential discomfort is managed following surgery.

He is originally from Canada and completed fellowships in knee and hip replacement in London, Ontario and Dallas, Texas. His favorite past-time outside of work includes grilling and barbeque.
