Rosann C. Nichols, MD

Dr. Rosann Nichols is a pediatrician at Methodist Physicians Clinic Hawthorne Court. She attended medical school at the Creighton University School of Medicine followed by her pediatrics residency training at the University of Kansas.

One of Dr. Nichols' goals in life has always been to be a reliable source of information for people. Early in her life, that goal fueled her desire to teach people in some way. Having an affinity for science, she initially decided she would become a science teacher. This all changed in high school, however, after working as a secretary for a medical clinic in her hometown of Cozad, Nebraska. During this time, she not only saw the passion doctors had in treating patients, but also saw their dedication in educating patients about health care. Inspired to be like them, she decided there was no better way to combine her two loves than to become a doctor.

Dr. Nichols is dedicated to providing answers for parents and their kids. As a mother of two children, she recognizes the struggles parents go through and assures them they are not alone. She emphasizes a high level of trust in patient relationships and encourages parents to come to her with any concerns they have.

In her free time, Dr. Nichols enjoys activities that keep her busy outside of the consultation room. She is an active member of her church and community, often participating in activities that involve literacy. She also loves reading, cooking new dishes and traveling to new and exciting places.
