Morgan Connor, DNP, APRN, knew she wanted to be a nurse after being influenced by one of her high school coaches who was also a pediatric critical care nurse.

“I take pride in patient education,” said Connor, who specializes in dermatology at Methodist Physicians Clinic.  “Specifically, about prevention and proper skin care across different skin types and populations. It’s so rewarding to see improvements in a patient’s health journey.”

Connor, a Nebraska Methodist College graduate, believes that The Meaning of Care involves showing compassion, building relationships and advocating for her patients.

“I aim to consider not only their skin health but also their overall well-being, promoting a comprehensive approach to care,” she said.

She believes the most important part of the patient-provider relationship is the connections that are formed through trust and open communication.

When she’s not caring for patients, Connor and her family enjoy traveling, trying new restaurants and spending time together at home.
