Morgan Tooley, APRN, enjoys developing long-term relationships with her patients, which is something she gets to do while working at Methodist Estabrook Cancer Center Breast Care Center inside the Methodist Women's Hospital Office Building.

"I love being able to be a part of their treatment from the date of their cancer diagnosis through their surgery, and then following them for years down the road," she said.

Tooley has always had a passion for health care and learning new skills, but her mother's breast cancer journey helped project her toward a career in oncology and sparked a particular interest in breast cancer.

Because of her family history, Tooley has personally received genetic testing and qualifies for alternative mammograms and breast MRIs every six months. She's also certified in Genetic Cancer Risk Assessment and Counseling, which helps her appropriately guide patients through genetic testing and results.

She desires to treat each of her patients like a family member and cultivate an open line of communication.

"I want my patients to know that I'm willing to answer any of their questions and address the concerns that they may have," Tooley said. "I want them to be comfortable with the care they're receiving."

In her free time, Tooley enjoys traveling, doing yoga and spending time with family and friends.
