Mallory M. Barry, MD

Mallory Barry, MD, developed a passion for volunteering and helping others during childhood, while moving around the country as part of a military family. After witnessing the birth of a family member’s baby, she was inspired by the profound impact that OB/GYNs can have on patients’ lives and knew she had found her calling. At Methodist Physicians Clinic - Women’s Center, Dr. Barry provides comprehensive care for women across every stage of life. She enjoys all aspects of obstetrics and gynecology but has strong interests in pregnancy and delivery, miscarriage and pregnancy loss, and helping women navigate difficult diagnoses and life transitions with compassion and confidence.

“I want my patients to know that I care about them, I care about their voice, and I want them to feel heard,” Dr. Barry said. “My goal is for every patient to leave feeling confident in their care and knowing they have someone in their corner.”

Dr. Barry believes trust is the foundation of exceptional care. She takes a whole-person approach, listening closely to each patient’s goals, concerns and life experiences while serving as a trusted advocate through every step of their healthcare journey.

Having trained at Methodist during residency, Dr. Barry was drawn back by the organization’s collaborative culture and shared commitment to exceptional patient care. To her, The Meaning of Care means “not just treating the problem, but treating the person.”

Outside of work, Dr. Barry enjoys spending time with her family, attending sporting events – especially Husker football games – practicing yoga, reading, and keeping up with her favorite reality TV shows.
