Kylee Stanley, MD, an internal medicine physician with Methodist Physicians Clinic, doesn't remember wanting to be anything other than a doctor. She was inspired by all the providers who cared for her while she battled health challenges as a child.
"When I was little, I thought I wanted to be a pediatric gastroenterologist, which is very specific for a kid," she said with a laugh. "But as I went through medical school, I realized I had more of a passion for adult care."
As an internist, Dr. Stanley cares for adults of all ages, but she especially treasures the relationships she builds with her geriatric patients.
"I really do feel like I have a large number of grandmas and grandpas."
She's inspired to be part of a large network of dedicated providers while still being able to give back to the small community she calls home.
"I'm particularly drawn to the Fremont community," she said. "I like the idea of going to the grocery store and seeing my patients there while picking out apples and talking about the small things in life."
To her, The Meaning of Care is about creating "family-like relationships."
"It's about making my patients feel comfortable and safe."

Dr. Stanley is fantastic. She is caring, listens to my concerns and explains her recommendations. I am most impressed that Dr. Stanley wears a mask and cares about me and any family members I bring to the appointment. Every doctor should conduct themselves like Dr. Stanley. She is professional and science-based. It's hard to find that in a doctor anymore. She is most certainly one of the top doctors in the Methodist system. I hope you appreciate what you have in her.

Our experience with Dr. Stanley was wonderful. She had already reviewed all notes from previous doctors and hospital stay, even though I had just been released. She looked me in the eye and paid attention to me and my concerns. I have already recommended Dr. Kylee Stanley to many people. You won't find a better doctor.
