Kate Huhmann, DNP, APRN-NP, WHNP-BC, FNP-C, is committed to building relationships with her patients by showing them The Meaning of Care.
"I strive to provide each patient with individualized, compassionate care," said Huhmann, a Methodist Physicians Clinic Women's Center nurse practitioner. "That starts with trusting relationships. I want patients to know that I'm here to care for them with no judgement."
Huhmann has specific interests in gynecology, pelvic floor disorders and urology. She also has experience working as a Methodist Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) and as a nurse at the Women's Center and the Methodist Hospital Progressive Care Unit.
"I love the Methodist culture," she said. "It's supportive, innovative and engaging. And that translates to outstanding patient care."
An Omaha native who was born at Methodist Hospital, Huhmann likes spending time with her spouse, two dogs and two cats. She also enjoys exercise and time spent outdoors. The world traveler has been to Canada, Mexico, Africa and Europe but has a soft spot for Disney World.

She was very knowledgeable and very informative. I really enjoyed my visit with her! She made me feel comfortable and explained everything before she did it during the exam! I will definitely recommend her to anyone that would need her type of services.

Kate was very good & took time to discuss some issues I'm having with incontinence & is checking on some things and will get back to me. I have no doubt I will hear from you. I also want to comment on the lower exam bed In the room I was In. It was lower to the floor & easy to get In. My feet were not left hanging off the usual bed so my feet didn't go to sleep.
