Karen Bagniewski, APRN, is a nurse practitioner specializing in obstetrics and gynecology at Methodist Physicians Clinic. She completed her nurse practitioner training and earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
Growing up, Karen always knew she wanted to be in the nursing field. Coupled with her desire to care for the people around her, she chose the medical field in order to be a resource for people to make good decisions regarding their health. Her mission is to keep people healthy through the promotion of good health and disease prevention.
When she is not in the office, Karen enjoys spending time with her family, always finding new activies to do with her husband and son.

Karen was absolutely fantastic! I cannot say enough good things about her. She took the time to listen to all of my concerns, offer her opinion (which I greatly appreciated and respected), ordered all testing she possibly could and deferred to my PCP for my other symptoms that were out of the scope of her practice. She closely followed my lab results and called me herself once the final results were in to discuss further steps. A huge thank you to Karen and her entire staff for their expertise and level of care. Their caring for me and my health was top level. I have received care at the other two healthcare systems in the city and while they are all good, Methodist truly has the best care available. I am so glad nearly all of my care received is through Methodist.

Karen was great, she explained everything and was detailed. Even when I asked for something that is not necessarily best practice anymore but important to me and over treating (not under) she did not question why, empathized and was able to do it.

I really like Karen. She is caring, attentive, and explains everything so well. She is also very gentle in her exam.
