I was referred to Dr. Markin several years ago. So fortunate that I was. She is the perfect example of an exceptional doctor. She cares, she listens and is very competent.

She listens to my concerns and I never feel like she would push me to do something. I didn't want to do, as I have felt with other physicians. She is truly an angel amongst us. From the first day I met her I felt like I was blessed to have her as my physician and be in her care and I still feel that way. I cannot say enough good things about her. She is an outstanding human being and physician And Methodist is lucky to have her. Also, very importantly I never feel rushed during my visits to see her. She takes the time I need to discuss my health issues and allows me to ask questions and ensures I understand her answers to my questions. She even makes notes for me of important issues during our visits and gives me the notes. I keep these notes and bring them with me to my next appointment with her so I can track my progress. She always always goes above and beyond in her care for me. Again, I believe she has a God given ability to be such an exceptional physician and she is an Angel amongst us. I trust her implicitly as my physician.

Dr. Markin listens to me and knows my care preference and takes that into consideration when deciding on care protocol. She answers my questions and provides follow up in a timely manner.

If I could give Dr. Markin a 10 out of 5 scale, I would. I don't drive 100 miles to her for no reason. When we moved away from the immediate Omaha area, I could not imagine leaving her care...so I didn't. When she left her former practice, I was devastated, until I found that she had moved to Methodist and I was able to return to her care. She is the absolute best primary care doc I've ever had.
