Kailyn Kennett, APRN-FNP, knows the importance of communication when it comes to her relationships with patients.
"Without communication, you can't properly care for your patients and their ailments," said Kennett, a nurse practitioner in the wound center at West Dodge Medical Plaza.
Kennett's love for medicine started when she took health science classes in high school. She got her start at Methodist as a nurse, which led to her pursuing a nurse practitioner license.
Kennett said that the most enjoyable part of her job is interacting with patients and hearing about their lives.
"I would like my patients to know that I am compassionate about their health care and will make sure to care for them to the best of my abilities," she said.
Outside of work, Kennett enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog. The couple is also expecting to grow their family
