Julie Jessen, PT, MPT, has been a physical therapist for more than 20 years and has experience with neurological rehabilitation, outpatient orthopedics, inpatient care, wound care and skilled nursing. She has been with Methodist Health System for more than 10 years.
In her current role with the Aquatic Therapy Program at Methodist Physicians Clinic HealthWest, she evaluates and treats diagnoses that include orthopedic injury and pain; balance disorders; and neurological conditions such as spinal cord injury, stroke, Parkinson's disease and multiple sclerosis.
"I'm passionate about determining what my patients' goals are for physical therapy and then doing everything I can to help them achieve them," she said.
When she's not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children. She has two cairn terriers and can't imagine life without her furry friends.
