Jill Sobczyk, PA-C, became interested in medicine at a young age, especially after receiving excellent care during a hospital stay of her own. As she matured, her desires grew for science and community service.
As a family medicine physician assistant with Methodist Physicians Clinic, Sobczyk is able to combine her passions.
"The opportunity to make a positive and lasting impact on the health and well-being of my patients is what draws me to family practice and drives my commitment to this field," she said.
Sobczyk's top priority is making her patients feel valued and heard.
"I firmly believe in the power of genuine connection and active listening to establish a trusting relationship with my patients," she said. "By dedicating myself to being present and attentive, I aim to create a welcoming and supportive environment where patients feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and experiences."
Sobczyk is particularly interested in preventive medicine, which aligns with her passion for getting to know her patients on a personal level.
"My goal is to empower individuals to remain active and healthy, enabling them to achieve their desired milestones," she said.
Outside of work, Sobczyk enjoys traveling, playing board games, going to movies and taking walks with her family.
