Heidi A. Lefler, APRN

Heidi Lefler, APRN, MSN, is a nurse practitioner with a great deal of experience. As a registered nurse, she worked in many areas of health care including rural health care, home health, oncology, neurology, general medicine, and obstetrics. While proud of everything she had accomplished, she wanted to care more for women over the course of their lifetime.

Intent on developing better, long-lasting relationships with patients, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from South Dakota State University and her Master of Nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Today, Heidi is a nurse practitioner dedicated to women's health at Methodist Physicians Clinic.

Heidi is a firm believer in patient-provider partnerships. Striving to provide exceptional care to all patients, she recognizes the importance address the specific needs and issues of each person. She also believes patients should not only be involved in every step in their treatment but also have an active role in making decisions regarding their care.

When she is not caring for women, Heidi enjoys spending time with her family. Having two very active daughters, she and her husband spend the majority of their free time cheering them on in numerous sports and activities.
