Grant Fabry, DNP, APRN-NP, AGACNP-BC, is a big believer in building strong relationships with his patients.
“You need a foundation built on trust, honesty, empathy and respect,” said Fabry, a nurse practitioner specializing in nephrology at Methodist Physicians Clinic – Nephrology. “I take the time to get to know each of my patients, not just for their medical conditions, but for who they are as a person.”
Fabry has specific interests in treating diabetic kidney disease and electrolyte abnormalities.
He’s proud to work for Methodist, where, he said, “multidisciplinary teamwork makes it a special experience for patients and providers alike. All members of the team communicate effectively with a common goal: to improve patient care and outcomes.”
Outside of work, Fabry is a family man.
“I am happily married to my high school sweetheart, and God has blessed us with three perfect children,” he said. “We love family trips to the zoo, Vala’s and the pool.”
Fabry also enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking, running, volunteering with Ducks Unlimited and watching Husker football.
