For nurse practitioner Erin Kopietz, APRN, nothing is more rewarding than the relationships she builds with patients.
"I love the trust and connection we develop," she said. "When a patient comes to me in a vulnerable position, I want them to trust my abilities and have confidence in me. When they feel comfortable and heard, we can begin to truly work on their health."
Kopietz specializes in family medicine at Methodist Physicians Clinic and enjoys caring for patients with a variety of needs. She feels strongly about offering an environment built on compassion, understanding and collaboration.
"I strive to make each patient a part of their health care," she said. "I see us as a team, and it's an honor for me to be a part of that.
When she's not caring for patients, Kopietz likes spending time with her family, attending her children's sporting events and taking part in community activities.
