My appointment was for a suspected sinus infection/sore throat. While conducting her exam of me the PA-C, Emily Murray, spotted a drooping right eyelid and inquired if I had any known problems with my right eye. I explained that I had six surgeries for a detached retina that would not stay attached. Now the eye is filled with silicon oil and kept dilated and I am totally blind in that eye. Emily spotted it right away and asked if I also had something going on with that eye fearing something was going on related to my primary complaint that day. She is one of few health care professionals that ever noticed and inquired about the eye during an exam! I was empressed with how thorough she was!

She took the time to help figure out our next step. And I do mean a lot of time to discuss this. But I left there with a good feeling that we would get this solved.

Emily is outstanding! She had made herself familiar with the purpose of my visit. I felt her concern for a new condition I'm facing. It was a good follow up visit.
