Dr. Emilio Arispe credits his love for pediatrics to his mother. As an infant, he developed a condition known as pyloric stenosis. This condition prevents children from being able to swallow food and requires surgery to cure. His mother was diligent in procuring treatment for her son. Her love and dedication molded Dr. Arispe into the person he is today.
Desiring to help children and their mothers, Dr. Arispe pursued a career in pediatrics. He completed medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and his residency training at Creighton University School of Medicine. Today, he is a pediatrician at Methodist Physicians Clinic.
"I want to be the voice for my kids, a voice for other people's children, and to help with moms when they have concerns with their kids."
Dr. Arispe is very passionate about what he does. His favorite aspects of pediatrics include being present from day one of his patents' lives and watching them grow into young adults. For Dr. Arispe, there is no greater feeling than being greeted warmly by his former patients. It makes him feel grateful and proud that he had the opportunity to be an early influence in their lives.
