From a young age, Caitlyn Kubik, PA-C, had an interest in medicine and caring for others.

“My early experiences as a patient sparked a curiosity about how medicine works,” she said. “And that curiosity grew into a genuine joy in patient education – helping people understand their health and feel more confident in their care.”

Now a physician assistant specializing in gynecologic oncology at Methodist Estabrook Cancer Center, she’s committed to forming relationships built on trust, honest communication and listening to each patient’s needs and concerns.

“Gynecologic oncology is at the unique intersection of women’s health and patient advocacy,” Kubik said. “What I most enjoy about my work is being present for patients in their most vulnerable moments and serving as an advocate for them.”

Kubik believes in holistic care, an approach that Methodist has long been known for.

“The Meaning of Care, at its deepest level, means celebrating patients’ physical progress as well as the meaningful wins in their personal lives. It’s recognizing and supporting the whole person – someone who is unique, important and deserving of compassion beyond their medical needs.”
