Brittany Kelly, APRN, believes her interest in medicine grew from “a desire to help people during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives.”

She discovered her calling in cardiology while working alongside an advanced heart failure and pulmonary hypertension specialist. Experiencing the field’s complexity – and having the opportunity to make a meaningful difference – solidified her path.

Now a nurse practitioner at Methodist Physicians Clinic - Westroads Office Park, Kelly has clinical interests that include helping patients navigate heart failure, pulmonary hypertension and other conditions that require highly specialized long-term care.

She takes pride in building trust through careful listening, open communication and actively involving patients in their care.

“I want patients to leave feeling heard, supported and reassured that they have someone in their corner,” she said.

Kelly was drawn to Methodist because its commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care mirrors her own values. To her, The Meaning of Care is “taking the time to understand the person behind the diagnosis.”

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son. She believes parenthood has deepened her appreciation for balance, patience and the challenges families face when navigating healthcare.
