Dr. Brian Harris is an internal medicine physician at Methodist Physicians Clinic Regency. He earned a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He completed his medical training, including his internal medicine-primary care residency, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Previously, he was an assistant professor at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.
The variety of conditions he could potentially see as an internist drew Dr. Harris to the specialty. Meeting people and building relationships, however, are what he loves most about the job. His favorite moments come when patients express their gratitude.
"That just tells me I'm making an impact and doing something good," he said. "I'm making a difference in their lives, and at the end of the day, that's really why we get into medicine."
In his free time, Dr. Harris enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, and taking part in anything related to sports, the outdoors or games.

I never feel that my appointment is being rushed. I'm given the time I need to discuss my health concerns or Issue for the particular visit. Dr Harris is patient, listens to my concerns .

Dr. Harris is one of the best I've ever visited. He recently diagnosed me with a condition that could have become very serious quickly. He made all the right decisions and prescribed the correct medications and I was cured of the infection in short order. This office visit was a (favorable) follow-up regarding that treatment.
