Brenden Boyle, MD, believes he found his dream job as a cardiologist.
He's fascinated by how cardiology is constantly evolving with new research, imaging techniques and procedures. He also enjoys how it allows him to build fulfilling relationships with patients, their families and his colleagues.
Most of all, he loves making a difference in people's lives.
"I get to relive that over and over," said Dr. Boyle, who sees patients at Methodist Physicians Clinic. "The ability to really connect with someone, to help them make some of the most important decisions of their lives and to help them through some of the toughest times in their lives ñ it's incredibly fulfilling."
His clinical interests include preventing and treating conditions such as coronary artery disease, heart failure and valvular diseases. He also enjoys how cardiac imaging techniques like echocardiography and cardiac CT scans allow him to noninvasively study conditions from multiple perspectives.
It's all possible thanks to a team he believes is the best in the area.
"Methodist is really at the forefront of cardiovascular care," Dr. Boyle said. "We have exceptional facilities, access to the cutting-edge procedures, a fantastic system of support and, most importantly, wonderful people."
Outside of work, the Omaha native enjoys spending time with his large extended family, watching Husker football games, traveling and trying new restaurants and foods.

I was a bit annoyed at his response but he made it more clear to me why I need to stay on a statin. Which was never explained to me before. He Is so concerned with my health that he didn't let me slide by. Best heart doctor ever.

This was my second time seeing Dr Boyle and he was concerned with helping me feel better. He answered my questions and and I felt very comfortable with him. I was nervous because I had been with my other doctor for almost 30 years however I would recommend Dr Boyle to anyone looking for a cardiologist.
