Becca B. Jones, PA-C

When Becca Jones, PA-C, MSPAS, CAQ-PMHC, was growing up, her sister was diagnosed with a brain tumor and later passed away. That personal tragedy inspired her to pursue a career in health care.

“My sister’s experience and other family and friends’ health experiences solidified my passion for health care,” said Jones, a physician assistant specializing in pulmonary medicine. “I wanted to do my part to help patients and families navigate serious illnesses.”

Jones, who cares for patients at Methodist Physicians Clinic - Fremont Cardiology and Pulmonology, also has experience in family medicine and palliative care settings. She believes her diverse background and personalized approach to care can help patients maintain or improve their quality of life.

“People going through chronic pulmonary concerns need someone with compassion, empathy and knowledge to help them,” she said. “That’s why I’m here.”

For Jones, The Meaning of Care isn’t just Methodist’s tagline. It’s an experience that results from authenticity, trust and collaboration.

“The Meaning of Care is all about the relationships and connections between patients and their care team,” she said. “It’s knowing the person behind the name and helping match their health care with their values and goals.”

When she’s not caring for patients, Jones keeps busy with her family by traveling, camping and attending youth activities that include sports, swimming, dance and 4-H. She also enjoys supporting her husband, a pastor, at their church by singing and playing piano, violin and French horn. She also loves to play softball and cheer for the Minnesota Vikings and Twins.
