I thought I wanted a surgical option immediately but as we started scheduling and I fully comprehended the recovery time, I realized it was not a good time to undergo surgery at this time. The care team pivoted with no problem to a wait and check plan and got me scheduled for a visit that worked in my time schedule in 3 months. This was such a relief to me. If surgery is something I decide on later, I know that the team at Methodist Estabrook will be there for me.

Dr Panwar is the VERY BEST!!! He took the time to explain my parathyroid gland procedure and answered ALL of my questions so I could UNDERSTAND IT!!!!
