Antara P. Pothuloori, MD

Dr. Antara Pothuloori was exposed to the medical field from very early in her life. In addition to her parents, her family consists of aunts, uncles and cousins who are physicians in various fields. However, when it came time to choose a career of her own, a young Dr. Pothuloori had different plans. Wanting to do something different from medicine, she initially attended college with the intention of being a lawyer. After taking science classes as part of her curriculum, she realized it was a subject she really loved all along. She then shifted her focus to the pre-med track in order to follow in her family's footsteps of becoming a physician.

Dr. Pothuloori went on to attend medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She later completed her residency at Kaiser Permanente-Los Angeles Medical Center, specializing in obstetrics and gynecology. Today, she is an OB-GYN at Methodist Physicians Clinic.

Dr. Pothuloori is dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of women. As an OB-GYN, she loves being a part of their lives, assisting them in important stages such as child birth and menopause. She believes the most important aspect of a physician-patient relationship is building trust in order to achieve exceptional, compassionate, and tailor-made care for every person.
