About Amanda Jo Lynn

Amanda Jo Lynn, MPAS, PA-C, began her medical career as an athletic trainer but quickly realized she wanted to care for a broader group of people.

Now, as a physician assistant specializing in internal medicine at Methodist Physicians Clinic, Lynn is passionate about preventive medicine and providing education and care that improves patients' lives.

"My favorite moments in my career are all related to when my patients have achieved their goals," she said. "Whether it was an athlete returning to the field of play after a season-ending injury or a patient achieving a blood pressure goal with diet and lifestyle changes, I'm always happiest when my patients are successful."

Lynn also has medical interests in women's health, epilepsy, heart failure and musculoskeletal disorders. But whatever the reason for a patient's visit, she's committed to being a good listener and trusted partner in their medical journey.

"I love the opportunity to connect with patients," she said. "I'm driven by the ability to build rapport with patients and be a provider they can trust with their medical care."

When she's not seeing patients, Lynn enjoys spending time – especially outside ñ with her husband and two children. She also enjoys reading, watching movies and staying active.
