Dr. Amanda Buskevicius embarked on her professional journey as a Bluejay at Creighton University School of Medicine. Initially, she considered becoming a pediatrician, but that quickly changed during her obstetrics and gynecology rotation. On her very first day, she was quickly thrown into the mix as she assisted in at least six C-sections and numerous other natural births.
The exhilaration and unexpected familiarization of her rotation left Dr. Buskevicius hooked. She went on to complete her residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and today, she is an OB-GYN at Methodist Physicians Clinic.
"I can definitely say the best thing about OB-GYN is my privilege to take care of women."
Dr. Buskevicius is very dedicated to women's health. She believes the best way to deliver exceptional care to patients is to listen to and address the concerns and questions of each woman. She also strives to treat every patient with kindness and respect in order to form bonds that last for many years.
In her free time, Dr. Buskevicius loves to volunteer at numerous charities, such as food bank fundraisers, women's health nights, and diaper drives.
