Alicia Wachal, APRN, is a nurse practitioner with a passion for women's health. Having been a labor and delivery nurse for over six years, she fondly remembers every delivery she assisted in, and considers childbirth one of life's miracles.
Wanting to care more for women across their life cycles, she returned to school and earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Today, Alicia is a nurse practitioner specializing in women's health at Methodist Physicians Clinic Women's Center.
Alicia firmly believes it is necessary to take a holistic approach to treating women. Realizing that a woman's well-being not only includes physical health, her mission is to treat a patient's entire being, including their mind, body, and soul. She also strives to provide exceptional, tailor-made care to all people, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion and social status.
In her free time, Alicia enjoys maintaining her own health. Being active individuals, she and her husband frequently work to improve their physical health through strength training. Additionally, she enjoys watching sports, movies and traveling to new places.
