Molly M. Brown, APRN

As a nurse practitioner specializing in family medicine, Molly Brown, DNP, FNP-BC, enjoys building relationships with patients throughout all phases of their lives.

“One of my favorite things about being in the nursing profession is getting to know patients and their families beyond their health care needs,” said Brown, who sees patients at Methodist Physicians Clinic. “Seeing familiar faces around the office and having the chance to catch up with patients, hearing about their recent vacation or grandchild’s sporting event – things like that always put a smile on my face.”

Brown has a particular interest in performing minor medical procedures. She works diligently to maintain open and clear communication with each of her patients while taking a holistic approach to care.

“My goal is to deliver the highest quality of evidence-based care,” she said. “I aim to provide my patients a safe space to share their thoughts and feelings, and the education and tools necessary to address their concerns and manage their health.”

Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Brown worked as a family medicine nurse with Methodist for four years, which sparked her desire be part of The Meaning of Care indefinitely.

“Simply put, Methodist feels like home,” she said. “Here, we work together as a team to achieve our primary goal – giving each patient the best possible care."

Outside of work, Brownenjoys spending time with her family and golden retriever. She also enjoys reading, traveling and trying new restaurants around Omaha.
