Stephen Tetrault, DO, a family medicine physician at Methodist Physicians Clinic - Hawthorne Court, fell in love with medicine during his college years. After looking at several career paths, he decided that becoming a physician would provide two very important factors for him: intellectual and social stimulation. He likes that medicine allows him to learn new and exciting things every day, and he is proud to work for a health system that puts patients first.
"From top to bottom, the Methodist culture is where we make a name for ourselves," he said. "It's where we shine and show patients that we're truly there for them."
He sees the importance in creating strong relationships and believes it's key to providing quality care. He also values preventive medicine, wanting to see patients when they're sick and when they're well.
Dr. Tetrault completed medical school at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He later completed his family practice residency at Clarkson Hospital in Omaha.
In his free time, Dr. Tetrault enjoys spending time with his family and friends, often playing sports with them, such as sand volleyball and basketball. A lover of music, he also likes discovering new songs to listen to, as well as attending live music events and concerts.
