Todd C. Eberle, DO

Todd Eberle, DO, became interested in science at a young age.

He originally thought about becoming a pharmacist, but after shadowing one for only a few hours, he realized it wasn't the career for him. He shadowed several physicians in college, "and I decided I wanted to dedicate my life to this." As a hospitalist at Methodist Fremont Health, Dr. Eberle is passionate about making a difference in people's lives.

"Some physicians focus on good communication," he said. "Others focus on the best science with evidence-based care. I believe the best care is a strong combination of the two, and I try to practice this every day."

He believes the close-knit relationships he has with each of his Methodist colleagues translates into quality patient care. And he strives to individualize that care every chance he gets.

"No matter how many years I do this, I always try to remember that the next patient is a unique situation. The pace of the medical world sometimes makes us move faster than we would like, but I always try to genuinely listen to every individual's concern and work with them toward a happier and healthier life."

When he's not seeing patients, Dr. Eberle enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He likes to stay active by running, playing soccer, hiking and skiing.

"Any time outside and in nature is a blessing," he said. "My perfect get-away spots are nearby lakes or even the Black Hills and Rocky Mountains."
