Dr. Radha Andukuri, an endocrinologist with Methodist Physicians Clinic (Diabetes and Endocrine Specialists), attended Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad, India. She completed her internal medicine residency and an endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism fellowship at Creighton University in Omaha.
She became interested in medicine at the age of 10, "when I learned that my father passed away from poor medical care," she said. "That's when I determined I wanted to be a doctor."
She enjoys the complexity of endocrinology and is especially interested in the prevention and management of diabetes.
"I want to be part of the solution," she said.
Dr. Andukuri is honored to be part of Methodist's commitment to compassionate care, and she's inspired by her patients daily.
"Each time a patient gets better, it motivates me to do more and more ñ help more and more people," she said.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling to state parks and taking in the beauty of nature by gardening and spending time outside with her family.
