MaleAbout Joseph S. Dumba
Dr. Joseph Dumba first became interested in medicine after needing medical care himself. Originally from southern Sudan, he lived in a village without doctors ñ only nurses and medical assistants took care of people in the hospital. Later realizing there was a tremendous need for doctors in Sudan, he chose to be part of the solution. He decided to pursue the medical field in order to be a doctor that provides care for those in need.
Fearing for his safety as a civil war broke out in Sudan, Dr. Dumba sought refuge in the U.S. Though the likelihood of returning to his country was unknown, his goal never disappeared. He completed medical school at the University of Washington and his residency at Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education. Today, he is a family practice doctor at Methodist Physicians Clinic.
Dr. Dumba is dedicated to providing the high-quality care unavailable to him as a child. He believes that in order to deliver exceptional care to patients, it is necessary for doctors to have a compassionate nature. It is his mission to treat patients as if he were treating members of his own family.
In his free time, Dr. Dumba enjoys spending time with his family. He frequently attends his children's sports activities with his wife. With his original goal in mind, Dr. Dumba also enjoys going on medical mission trips both locally and to his native country in order to provide care for the underserved.

Dr.Dumba is always kind and he listens. He address's all concerns and follows up with"Is there anything else u can help you with." There aren't a lot of doctors who have compassion like he does. No matter the situation I feel safe and properly cared for.
