Emily K. Bendlin, MD

Dr. Emily Bendlin has always loved caring for children. She first developed an interest in high school, when she worked for a day care. During her early college years, her interest became a passion when she babysat for a family with a special needs child. In order to care for this child, Dr. Bendlin had to receive basic medical training. That small taste of medical care, coupled with her love of caring for kids, left Dr. Bendlin convinced that she needed to pursue a professional medical career.

On a mission to become a pediatrician, Dr. Bendlin completed medical school and her pediatrics residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Today, she is a pediatrician at Methodist Physicians Clinic.

Dr. Bendlin is dedicated to providing exceptional care to all patients, no matter how difficult the case. There are times a patient is too young to speak, so it is up to her to figure out that child's needs using every skill necessary. She also loves that no two patients are alike, and she wakes up every morning ready to take on new challenges that await her.

In her free time, Dr. Bendlin enjoys spending time with her family. When she has time to herself, she enjoys reading, do-it-yourself projects and going on hikes.
