Dr. Abelardo Cruz has had a love for medicine as far back as he can remember. While he was growing up, his grandfather was a well-known physician in his community. He would tell a young Dr. Cruz exciting stories about the medical field. Dr. Cruz admired his grandpa's passion for his career, and it became the driving force in his decision to become a doctor as well.
Dr. Cruz went on to attend medical school at the University of Philippines Manila. he later completed his internal medicine residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Brunswick, New Jersey. Today, he is a internal medicine doctor at Methodist Physicians Clinic.
Dr. Cruz is dedicated to promoting his patients' well-being. His mission is to educate them on the choices they can make to take charge of their good health. He also believes in the importance of creating a partnership with his patients so that they can work together to achieve positive health outcomes while preventing bad ones.
In his free time, Dr. Cruz enjoys the arts. A creative person, he loves coming up with new songs while strumming his guitar.

Dr. Cruz was knowledgeable and he answered all of our questions and concerns. He did not hurry us and the appointment lasted over an hour, which we greatly appreciated.

Dr Cruz is a thorough doctor. Reviews your diagnoses, cases, previous visits, asks any new symptoms, discuss plans, ask you if you agree on tests/lab works needed/recommended and definitely involves you about your health and take his time to listen to you ..

Dr. Cruz spend quality time with me and was very thorough. Too many things to mention. If he wasn't excellent I would not have recommend him to my brother in law and nephew who are now His patience.

Dr Cruz is a very good and awesome doctor. He takes his time to listen to you. Discuss with you the problem, manner of resolving and plan. He reviews with you your previous lab results as needed inorder to rule out a diagnosis. He recommends further lab works and tests as needed. He shows compassion.
